What to see at the Geneva motor show 2020

2020 will witness the 90th Geneva autoshow. We are excited as you are too to see the automakers from around the globe showcasing their upcoming and most awaiting products.
What is geneva autoshow?

The Geneva international motorshow is an annual auto show held in, obviously, Geneva, Switzerland since 1900s. It is love of the largest international motor shows where manufacturers introduce their newest models, concepts and prototypes and people come from different places to witness it, as well as to attend workshops and discussions.
This year, the autoshow will begin with a VIP day on March 4th and continue to open for public from March 5th to 11th. It will be open from 10-8 on weekdays and 9-7 on weekends. The show is held at Palexpo arena, and is accessible by car or public transport. It is close to Geneva airport. The tickets can be bought online at their official site at a slightly reduced price than on-the-door prices.

What to look for at Geneva autoshow 2020?
Here’s the list of cars that we anticipate to see or atleast hear an announcements from the different automakers around the globe.

Aston Martin

Aston Martin will showcase their first ever SUV, the DBX. What must of us are excited about the launch of Vantage roadster, with a soft top, having the same twin turbo V8 as that of the coupe, capable of attaining 60mph in a mere 3.7 seconds.

Audi

We can expect the brand new A3 ahead of its official launch. Audi will reveal the diesel, petrol and hybrid versions along with the sporty S3 and RS3.

Bentley

Bentley has already announced the unveil of an exclusive handmade model Mullinear Bacalar at the show. It is inspired from the design of EXP 100GT sports car. We can also expect the unveil of facelifted Bentayga, which will be launched later this year.

BMW

BMW has recently released the teaser of their new all electric car, named i4. We can expect it to be in the show.

Bugatti

Rumors say that Bugatti will reveal a new hypercar at Geneva this year or else they’ll showcase the limited $9 Million dollar hypercar, the Centodieci which was already launched in 2019.

Ferrari

Ferrari will unveil the beautifully crafted Roma grand tourer to the whole world this year at Geneva.

Fiat

Fiat is expected to reveal the hybrid 500 and Panda along with a a fully electric variant of 500, called 500e.

Honda

We can expect a face lifted versions of Civic type R along with the Civic hatchback from Honda at this year at Geneva.

Hyundai

Along with an updated i20 and i30 launch, we can also expect an all new i10 though it is not sure. The new cars will have better looks and better tech inside.

Kia

Kia will launch a brand new Santiago which is longer and far better.

Lexus

Lexus will showcase three electric models this year and the electrified LF 30 which will undoubtedly be the star of the show.

Mazda

Mazda is expected to reveal their first ever electric car MX 30 which we expect nothing short than a quirky model.

McLaren

We are expecting a new hybrid powered supercar from McLaren along with the beautifully crafted Elva roadster.

Mercedes-Benz

Chances are Mercedes might unveil the plug in hybrid versions of both CLA class coupe and the new GLA. We also expect a facelifted version of E class saloon and AMG version of GLA AND GLE SUVs

Porsche

We expect the revival of the traditional six cylinder engines through the 718 Boxter and 718 Cayman, both of which to be displayed at the auto show.

Renault

Renault will introduce the Megane range of plug in hybrids along with hybrid versions of Clio and Captur.

Rolls Royce

If Rolls Royce doesn’t showcase the new Ghost saloon, we will have to get satisfied with the mean looking black badge editions.

Skoda

Skoda has already announced the launch of new Octavia vRS at the show. What variants of it is still not clear. Skoda has also confirmed the announcement of the release of Enyaq, a new all electric SUV.

Suzuki

We haven’t received any news on what Suzuki is planning to reveal. What we definitely expect is the jimny range.

Toyota

Toyota will reveal the hot hatch GR Yaris at the show. This really need monster is expected to produce some serious figures in performance.

Volkswagen

Volkswagen will be revealing a new set of electric cars. We can also expect the new Golf series to be in the auto show.
